Create Leads in addition to Contacts.

All new customers coming through the Web Booking Form are created as Contacts in Salesforce.

Several customers have requested that they are created as Leads.

The new feature we're brainstorming should allow you to choose whether the new customers are created as Leads or Contacts.

 

We're considering this for release 1.3 which is the next release.  Expect it within 4-6 weeks.

  Will this feature also allow Users to select pre-existing Leads to book appointments for? Or is it just for new customers through the Web Booking Form?

  Thank you for reaching out!

  The feature will definitely allow you to select pre-existing Leads for appointments.  

  Here's what we're planning:

  • Both Leads and Contacts will show up in the search list under Existing Customers in your Create Appointment dialogue box.
  • We will give you a new option in the Configure section to set whether new Appointiv Customers are set up as Leads or Contacts in Salesforce
  • The choice of Lead vs Contact for new customers will apply new Appointiv Customers whether they're created by an external user in the Online Booking Form or internally by an Appointiv user.
