What is this?

Think of this as assigning skills to your Service Providers. This is where you tell Appointiv which people provide which services in each location. This comes into play when booking appointments by helping narrow down the results that appear when certain Locations and Services are selected in the Online Booking Form or in the internal Appointiv Calendar.

How does it help me?

If you have lots of Category and Locations, then your selections here will help you shorten the list of providers in your Schedule Manager view and also in your Online Booking tool.
This is very helpful if you have one type of Provider that can do several types of Service. Ie. a “Doctor” that can do services in multiple Categories.

Steps in our Example Setup

Step 1 - Select Office = Main Office

Step 2 - Select Service = Accounting

Step 3 - Click the checkbox next to Thomas Magnum

Next, go to Step 7 - Appointment Types

Pro Tip: Be sure to follow the steps for each location if you have more than one.
